CLE Credit for Pro Bono

Pro bono attorneys who volunteer for Ohio Legal Aid or other organization recognized by the Supreme Court of Ohio may earn continuing legal education (CLE) credits through pro bono work. Effective January 1, 2014, pro bono attorneys may earn up to six hours of CLE credit per biennium doing pro bono work for Ohio Legal Aid.  Six hours of pro bono work earns one hour of CLE credit. To qualify for CLE credit earned by pro bono work, the pro bono work must be assigned, verified and reported to the Ohio Supreme Court by an Ohio Legal Aid organization or other organization recognized by the Ohio Supreme Court as providing pro bono programs or services in Ohio.
